Three Life Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita for a Fulfilling Life

Yes you read that right, India is not just a country it is the home of different cultures, religions and spirituality.

India is a holy land of spirituality, it is the place of knowledge, the knowledge from 0 to the endless possibilities.

India is an ocean of knowledge and in order to experience your Knowledge you have to dive into the history of this beautiful country.

Three Life Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita for a Fulfilling Life

We have Vedas, We have Guru Granth Sahib, We have the holy Quran and last but not the least Shree Bhagwat Geeta the ocean of knowledge that has all possible answers to our problems.

So here I am with something new and extraordinary that will surely help you in dealing with your day to day life problems.

From the heart of India, from the bottom of the ocean of knowledge here are 3 life lessons that can make your life much easier.

So let's do e into the blissful post.

1. Karma Is Dharma

Karma means your duty, your responsibility and something that you are doing on a regular basis is what we call Karma.

Lord krishna ji Said in Shree Bhagwat Geeta

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।

मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गो अस्त्व कर्मणि ॥

Meaning: Do your duty without worrying about the outcome, because success and failure are beyond your control. Perform your actions without attachment to the results, and remain steadfast in yoga."

In essence, Lord Krishna is emphasising the importance of focusing on one's duty or karma and performing it to the best of one's abilities, without being attached to the outcome or the fruit of one's labour.

This helps in maintaining inner peace and stability, and frees one from the cycle of pleasure and pain that is associated with attachment to results.

In simple words  focus on your karma, don't be tempted by the result, while doing your work ( karma ) you must be fully focused on it.

You should not think about the result, just do it, taking your work ( karma ) as your biggest priority.

He says ( Krishna ji ) when your work is done without thinking about the outcome, without thinking about the failures and success it benefits you the post.

Your work should be your first priority and you must obey it, you should follow each and every step that is required for the accomplishment of that work ( Goal ).

2. Mind is like a monkey

Our mind is our biggest enemy as well as our best friend too. Our mind controls all our five senses, ( Eyes, Nose, Ears, Tongue and Skin ).

Whatever we feel, how we think, is due to our mind. In Shree Bhagwat Geeta, Krishna said that the mind is like a Charioteer, who is controlling all 5 horses ( 5 senses ) of the human body and in order to attain that ultimate goal, that ultimate happiness becomes very important to control our mind.

But how ? Controlling our mind seems to be very tough, yes it is tough but not impossible.

When Arjuna asked Shree Krishna the same question Krishna replied that in this world, that's full of negative thoughts and people who are jealous of you, it's natural to get distracted.

Krishna says that in order to control our mind we have to become Yogi ( A person who is detached with this materialistic world ) but that's impossible for us, in order to get detached from this world because we want to enjoy our life then how can we become Yogi ?

So yogi in the sense is you have to stay neutral whether you are sad or happy you have to stay neutral without thinking of the result you have to work for your goals.

In this way you can become a Yogi and can control your mind.

The second way that Shree Krishna has told us to control our mind is to do regular meditation. Meditation helps you in discovering yourself.

It helps you in discovering your inner soul that we call ( Atma ) in our yogic language. So start doing meditation not for an hour but just for a few minutes and you are done.

In this way you can control your mind.

3. Procrastination and its solution

Our Indian culture is so rich that they have solutions to each and every problem that we are facing today.

So here's what you can do if you are procrastinating, what you have to do is work for your goals restlessly. As said earlier, don't look for the outcomes, just enjoy the process.

Dedication and discipline are the two keys that can help you in dealing with procrastination.

Your goals must be your Dharma ( One of the most prior work in your life, nothing is more Important than that ) , your goals must be your priority.

You must work restlessly for the accomplition of your goals but don't assume for any kind of outcomes that you had.

Keeping in mind that this is my ultimate Dharma and doing this will benefit me and this whole society. Your thoughts must be like that.
