In our day to day life we often follow some habits or activities that are wasting our time and making us less productive.

If you just focus on our day to day routine then you can easily notice those activities that are continuously consuming your time, and these activities we call them temptation.




    Meaning of temptation

    Temptation, is a fundamental desire to get involved in short term enjoyment which threaten us for our long term goals .

    Now let me clarify that short term enjoyment are basically those activities which we know are not good for us, but Still practicing them in our daily life and the enjoyment that we get is actually called Short term enjoyment.

     In our school life or in college life we often have pass through the situation,where we know that we have to study , study is important but we can't do study. We know our purpose but still some force stops us from doing our work. This is actually called temptation .

    How one can get tempted ?

    There are many things from which a person can get tempted, few of them are :-

    • Usage of smartphone.

    • High consumption of drugs and alcohol. 

    • Laziness 

    • Consuming junk food.

    The above are the few habits though one can get tempted.

    Self Control  as by the name control over yourself, control over your senses, and it is said that one who has a control over the senses can control this whole world. 

    Self control over your body is something that can soon help you in overcoming your temptation. 

    Self control is a sign for your success and i must suggest you to develop a habit of self control. 




    Few tips that you can follow to improve your self control:-

    • Give more priority to your work.

    • Remove everything from your routine that distracts you from your goals. 

    • Do the tough thing first. 



    Researches showed that children who learn to control their impulses do better in schools, colleges, studies and even in life  starting self control for the first time is very difficult but if one is able to control himself then he will surely get success .

    •  21 days rule ( the psychology of mind )


    According to psychologist doing something regularly for 21 days becomes a habit. This method is very beneficial for people those who wants to build new habits in thier life.



    What you can do ?


    Basically what you want to do is you want to follow a particular habit  for 21 days . It sounds tough and actually it is tough to do, but if any how you try to do it for 21 days then you can easily see the result. 

    You can apply this trick in studies in life and at many more subject like sports. And you will surely reach your destiny .

    When you are tempted towards any habit than it becomes very tough to get rid out of it, once you got into the chain then it becomes difficult to stop that particular habit.

    • Notice and celebrate small bits of progress.


    It is said that when " life gives you 100 reasons to cry then you must have 1000 reasons to smile ". Try searching for small happiness, celebrate them, celebrate your small moments. Because we actually miss these small moments in search of big happiness.

    Reward yourself daily, reward can be using smartphone for 10-15 min after completing each task or cycling after completing a task.


    • Developer friend circle in which people encourages each other to exercise self control. 


    This is something that everyone must know you must develop a good friend circle, avoid bad friends circle, in order for a successful life you must avoid it. 

    Someone said that a book is a good friend , but a good friend is a whole library, so it's better you must search good friend. It is good to have less friends than more bad friends. 

    • Think positive and act wisely .


    Think positive, because being positive in life is actually the sign of successful person and must stay positive.
